My experience

Here is my experience. I left tortge arrived in Khemi, was then "automatically bound" to Khemi. I opted to make Old Tartania my 'Home' traveled there (no auto bind) and manually bound via the Wayfarer. I have never been "automatically bound" to any other location in the game since that point (30+ levels). So, I have not had those auto binding experiences myself.

For some strange reason, you auto-bind to tortage when you enter the thirsty dogg inn.

Yes I experianced that alot tho, can also happend in areas like Old Tarantia, Nobel District, just to name exsample. Also I had the same auto bind when we meet in tavern for pow-wow.
